Housing Advocates Sue California Cities For Affordable Housing

Is affordable housing by lawsuit the next trend for California cities?
"Housing advocates recently sued two cities, Camarillo and Fillmore, claiming they failed to build affordable housing for very low-income wage earners, especially farm workers... Attorney and housing advocate Barbara Macri Ortiz said she is considering filing a lawsuit against the city of Ventura. She said the city hasn't constructed any affordable housing for its poor residents, including farm workers, in the last 10 years."
