Editorial: Is Sacramento Picking our Pockets?

Vigilance on Sacramentos legislators is needed if the San Fernando Valley is to see the monies it deserves.
Daily News Editorial charges that legislators in Sacramento cant reasonably expect the residents of the San Fernando Valley to believe their claims that $8.75 million were accidentally funneled away from parkland in the Valley to projects in the city. Legislators in Sacramento have disappointed Valley residents and county officials are justifiably angry. Unless determined supervision is established, large sums of money will continue to be accidentally misappropriated.
