Community leaders try to break image of road as barrier between have and have nots.
"The group has received a lot of attention in the last year since rap star Eminem's movie "Eight Mile" hit theaters across the country. "We loved the publicity. We had people and businesses who approached us and wanted to join just because of the movie," said Salisbury. "But the movie is a depiction of yesterday, not the reality of today."
