San Francisco Giants Pac Bell Park is Technology Showcase
5 June 2000 - 3:06am
New stadium pushes technology to the limits while maintaining traditional ballpark design.
Electronic tickets and wired turnstiles tell officials at San Francisco Giant's Pac Bell Stadium when people are arriving, and which entrances are most popular. Luxury suites have fast Internet access, and the action is recorded by four cameras at five angles and recorded to 750-DVD jukebox for later replay.
