Creating A World-class Downtown Fort Lauderdale

"Creating the kind of downtown envisioned by the Fort Lauderdale Consolidated Downtown Master Plan means more than simply making improvements to various disparate elements of the city landscape. It means making connections to link those elements together.Planners and city officials must make sure people without cars can easily move from shopping on Las Olas Boulevard to dinner in Himmarshee Village to a show at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts -- all without becoming drenched with rain or sweat."
