San Francisco-based Bechtel is one of the largest construction companies in the world, and has made a name for itself in the new economy by building warehouse and fulfillment centers for Internet companies. Business 2.0 names Bechtel as one of its five "Corporate Giants" who understand the new economy and how to make a niche for itself in the "click and mortar" world.
