Revamp State Water Laws To Protect Environment

Washington lawmakers should streamline state water laws to protect the environment and meet the needs of growing communities
"By passing legislation to reform state water laws, the Legislature could give Washington's economic competitiveness a much-needed shot in the arm...State lawmakers should update water laws during the special session to help municipal utilities provide water to growing communities and maintain a healthy environment...Streamlined state water laws would not only improve water service to people, they would benefit the environment."
