About the Job:
San Luis Obispo County is recruiting a Planner II in the County Planning and Building Department. The incumbent will perform complex, professional planning and environmental work in all program areas within the Planning Division which includes Current and Environmental Planning, Long Range Planning and Resource Management (Mining and Reclamation, Agriculture and RMS)
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree or master's degree in urban and regional planning, architecture, landscape architecture, geography, natural resources management, environmental, physical or life science, or a closely-related field. In addition, candidates will have one year of professional level experience in urban and regional planning or environmental review and analysis. Highly qualified candidates will have knowledge and experience in the application of CEQA.
Compensation:
Current Salary Range: $54,808—$66,622 with a generous benefits package including San Luis Obispo County Pension Trust and Deferred Comp.
