RKG Associates, Inc. is a leading national consulting firm providing economic, planning, and real estate advisory services. RKG is looking for a new team member in its New England office in Dover, NH. The City of Dover has been ranked by Money Magazine as one of the top 100 communities in the country based on quality of life, job opportunities, schools, safe streets and vibrant downtown.

The position will focus on the following areas:

Real Estate Analysis: Financial feasibility and market analysis
Demographic and Economic Analysis: Regional demographic and economic analysis
Housing: Market rate and affordable housing analysis and neighborhood revitalization strategies
Urban Redevelopment: Downtown revitalization, waterfront revitalization and military base reuse planning
Economic & Fiscal Impact Analysis: Fiscal and economic impact analysis and computer modeling

Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word, and a working knowledge of MS Access, MS PowerPoint are required. Knowledge of ArcGIS and its analytical applications is also desirable.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Masters Degree, preferably with an academic concentration in real estate, urban studies, planning, business, or urban economics. Candidates should have 2 to 3 years experience in planning, real estate or related profession with some experience in real estate economics, market analysis, quantitative analysis, financial analysis, data collection and research. Housing and urban redevelopment experience is desirable, as would be previous consulting experience.

Candidates should possess: (1) effective written and verbal communication skills, (2) problem-solving skills, (3) good organizational skills, (4) sound computer and technical skills, and (5) the ability to work effectively under limited supervision. The position is full-time and available on January 1st, 2013. Salary and experience commensurate with experience and includes the potential for bonuses and future advancement for the right candidate.
