Ethical challenges pervade the field of planning. Understanding how to address these challenges is critical for planners at all levels. Planetizen's Planning Ethics course provides professional planners with a thorough and thoughtful discussion of ethical concerns that many planners are likely to face in their careers. In three videos, ethics expert Carol Barrett, AICP, examines the AICP Code of Ethics, and applies its standards to common examples in everyday planning.

Synchronized with detailed slides, the three videos in this course offer a quick and informative immersion into the world of ethics. Students will learn to think critically about the issues facing them in their organizations and practices. This course is a great way to stay conscious of the ethical issues planners face.

For AICP members, this course also satisfies the ethics requirement for AICP's Certification Maintenance program.
