Deborah Myerson is an urban planner with fifteen years of professional experience in community development, housing, smart growth, land use and transportation, and urban revitalization. As an independent consultant based in Bloomington, Indiana, she provides a wide range of writing, research, project analysis, and program management services on planning and development topics.

She has also worked closely with heritage corridors and scenic byways around the country. Her most vividly remembered scenic byway trip was journeying on the Dalton Highway (aka the Haul Road), from Livengood across the Arctic Circle to Deadhorse, Alaska.

Ms. Myerson is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and APA's Private Practice Division. She earned a Master of Regional Planning degree from Cornell University and a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. An unmatriculated Master Gardener, she enjoys getting her hands dirty in her vegetable and flower garden.
